Yvonne Nadler, D.V.M. Research Epidemiologist Davee Center for Epidemiology and Endocrinology
After receiving her master’s, Nadler volunteered at Lincoln Park Zoo, working with data generated as part of the Gombe Stream Health Monitoring project. She was hired as a veterinary epidemiologist in March 2007. Her responsibilities continue to involve her in the Gombe project, but she is also analyzing data from the West Nile Virus Surveillance System. This surveillance system was a joint effort of Lincoln Park Zoo epidemiologists, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Association of Zoos and Aquariums members. Her interests lie in zoonotic diseases of all types. She is expanding her knowledge of the risk analysis process, which she plans to use in a variety of her projects. Publications |
