Everyone loves a love story. This one begins nearly 150 years ago when a beautiful pair of swans was donated to what became Lincoln Park Zoo. Get ready to join the fun as we celebrate the magnificent wildlife of the zoo we all love so much.

On Friday, July 12, the Women’s Board of Lincoln Park Zoo will host the 36th Annual Zoo Ball: Wild at Heart, presented by Guggenheim Partners, LLC. Guests in elegant evening attire will stroll among the zoo’s wild denizens. Pose for photographers on hand to capture the moment. Head for the Long Neck Lounge to sip a bit of champagne or a cool glass of Zoo Ball Love Potion. Get ready for some wild bidding as you lose your heart to an amazing array of auction items.

The roar of the zoo’s big cats will beckon guests to a stunning dining pavilion accented by the warm glow of glittering candles. One of Chicago’s top chefs will find the way to your heart with gourmet delights and fine wine. There will be nothing tame about the Zoo Ball dance floor, where guests will dance to “Wild Thing” or enjoy a little cheek-to-cheek to the sounds of “How Deep is Your Love?” Indulge your heart’s desire with after-dinner cordials, sweet treats and coffee.

All proceeds will help keep Lincoln Park Zoo free and open 365 days a year. Ticketing information will be available soon.
