Inspired by one of the most powerful empires in the world, the Auxiliary Board of Lincoln Park Zoo invites Chicago’s party animals to attend its signature fundraiser, Zoo-ologie 2013: Sumus Animalia. On Saturday evening, May 18, 2013, the grounds of Lincoln Park Zoo will be transformed into a Chicago rendition of ancient Rome. A lavish archway of greenery and beautiful white flowers will lead you through the luxurious tent stretching across the Main Mall. Set amid Kovler Lion House, gourmet food stations will provide guests the opportunity to savor some of Chicago’s tastiest offerings. Join more than 1,000 guests for an upscale, upbeat evening of food, libations and dancing co-chaired by Chris Cook, Lindsay Humphreys and Jennifer Statler. It’s always an unforgettable evening—even more so because its proceeds help keep Lincoln Park Zoo open and free to the public 365 days a year.

Prosperous Prelude
Thank you to everyone who attended the Zoo-ologie Pre-Party! More than 150 of Chicago’s young professionals packed the private room of River North’s Untitled on Wednesday, April 3. In just two hours, the wildly successful event raised more than $7,000 for Lincoln Park Zoo.
The fun, high-energy evening featured creative Hendrick’s cocktails and an assortment of Untitled’s delicious appetizers. Raffle prizes, music and an all-around cool atmosphere made a memorable evening for all, providing just a taste of the main event to come on May 18.
