Hope B. McCormick Swan Pond

It was the gift of a pair of swans that began Lincoln Park Zoo more than 130 years ago. Today, two snow-white trumpeter swans still make their home at the verdant Hope B. McCormick Swan Pond, serving as a continual reminder of the zoo’s proud history of preserving wildlife. They share this scenic pond with other waterfowl, showcasing graceful behaviors on water and on land.
