Taxis & Rideshares
Pickups and drop-offs should be directed to West Gate, near the corner of Stockton Drive and Webster Avenue.

Location
The parking lot entrance is located at Fullerton Parkway and Cannon Drive (2400 N. Cannon Drive).

Hours
The parking lot opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 11 p.m.

Rates
Parking is free for the first half hour. After that, rates range from $30–40 per day and include applicable parking taxes. Prices are subject to change.

Buses
The 22, 36, 151, and 156 buses stop along the western edge of the zoo.

Trains
The Brown and Purple Lines stop at the Armitage station and the Red Line stops at the Fullerton station. Both stations are accessible and located about one mile west of the zoo.

Bicycles
Bicycle racks are located near East Gate, West Gate, North Gate, and Café Brauer Gate, with additional racks along Cannon and Stockton drives. There are also several nearby Divvy stations.

Information

Searle Visitor Center
The zoo’s guest services are located inside Searle Visitor Center at the zoo’s East Gate entrance.

At the Visitor Center, guests can find:

  • General zoo information
  • First aid and Public Safety
  • The lost and found
  • Strollers, wheelchairs, and electric convenience vehicles
  • A quiet room (for breastfeeding, prayer, quiet space, air conditioning, etc.)

The Member Center
The Member Center, generously funded by the Women’s Board, is located across the courtyard in the west wing of the Visitor Center.

At the Member Center, guests can:

  • Join the zoo, renew membership, or purchase a gift membership
  • ADOPT an Animal
  • Purchase a gift for an animal from the zoo’s Wish List
  • Make a donation of any amount
  • Discover member benefits, like free parking, access to members-only events, and discounts at the Gift Shop and on ticketed events
