    About

Charlie began his career studying wildlife biology at the University of Minnesota. He then completed a doctorate in veterinary medicine at Tufts University. Charlie followed this with a zoological medicine internship at Louisiana State University and a return to Tufts to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical and translational sciences. In 2024, Charlie became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, a veterinary specialty organization dedicated to veterinary public health. His primary research interests are the applications of evidence-based medicine and decision analysis to zoological medicine.
