L.E.A.P. Into Nature Play: A Family-Friendly Workshop

Participant Guidelines

• This workshop is intended to support adult caregivers in practicing nature play at home. An adult must be present with the group.
• Groups are limited to four (4) people.
• Children over 10 are welcome to come with the understanding that activities are geared towards children ages 10 and under.
• We will spend some time outside, so dress for the weather!

Cancellation Deadline

September 30

Refunds, minus a 12.5 percent processing fee, may be issued for cancellations if requested in writing via an email to learning@lpzoo.org with a timestamp prior to 11:59 p.m. on September 30. Refunds are not available after September 30 for any reason, including illness.

About Nature Play

Playing in nature engages all our senses at once. It teaches us how to solve problems, fosters creativity, and helps us concentrate. When playing, we feel happy and joyful, and by playing outside, we learn to love nature and thereby develop lifelong conservation values. Our activities are designed to help your child make those discoveries and begin that process of exploration in and alongside nature.
